Donating to MARS
The average cost of rescuing a dog ranges from $175.00 to $450.00!
This cost includes veterinary exams, medical treatments, needed vaccinations, and foster care supplies (including food). A senior dog or a dog with a serious health issue can cost us much more than this. MARS asks for an adoption fee for each dog we place, but that amount rarely covers what we spend on a dog. Like most rescue groups, our primary financial support comes from individual donations.
